A couple of weeks ago, the guys over at Thank You Gallery opened up shop to showcase work brought to fruition by Sneeze Mag founder, and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ stan, Avi Gold. The gallery, run by Eric Wiggins and Doddie Braza, opened its doors in April and showcases a variety of art and artists, establishing itself as the much needed home of the art scene in the 757. For the memorial holiday, the gallery included Avi Gold’s favorite prints, a Chinatown installation full of bootleg gems, “1-offs”, and tees being sold out the back of a white 3500 van. His “Thank You for Nothing” tee perfectly combines Larry David’s typical emotions and 90’s, Pen N Pixel, design elements. The Thank You Gallery heads also released a few pieces to pay homage to one of the greatest collectives to come out of VA, Star Trak Records, that includes a list of the whole roster. You can check out the gallery below, but in the words of the great Larry David, it was “pretty, pretty, pretty good”.
